Hollywood star Zendaya, who also serves as a Met Gala co-chair this year, turned heads at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as she walked the red carpet in the most sexiest and the edgiest outfit. The actress donned a Maison Margiela mermaid-cut gown which perfectly complemented the ‘Garden of Time’ theme, inspired by the Met Museum’s Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion exhibition.
Zendaya’s Met Gala look sent fans into meltdown as they flooded social media with compliments for the actress, who is currently dating ‘Spider-Man’ star Tom Holland. One fan dubbed her look as “best dressed”, while another one said, “SHE JUST DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO NOT SERVE.” “Wow she ate it,” a third fan commented on her look.

On the acting front, Zendaya has been receiving praise for her recently released steamy tennis dramedy ‘Challengers’, co-starring Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. A few days back, the Hollywood actress took to her Instagram account to share a lengthy post before the film’s release and revealed that she was being jittery since this would be “my first time leading a film”.
Zendaya, 27, also shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from ‘Challengers’. One of the videos featured her co-stars Josh and Mike jokingly kiss a tennis racquet wearing Zendaya’s wig from the movie, a witty reference to the most talked-about scene in the movie’s trailer in which both men begin kissing Zendaya’s character Tashi.
Zendaya had also opened up about her parents’ reaction to her steamy scenes in ‘Challengers’. She revealed that while they were aware about the content of the film owing to the rating, it was ‘hilarious’ to see their reactions.
“It was hilarious,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Yeah, I thought it was hilarious. They’ve all seen Euphoria, you know, so it’s not like our first rodeo or anything. It was funny ’cause, you know, obviously I’ve seen the movie many times so I know what’s coming, and they were all sitting behind me, and I got to, like, watch them watch and slowly just be like, ‘Oh god.’ It’s still enough to not want to watch with your aunt.”
