The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) is all set to come out with new rules to deal with the issue of cheating in exams. According to media reports, from this year UPMSP plans to invoke the National Security Act (NSA) 1980 on candidates caught cheating in board exams. UPMSP introduces a new set of rules every year to deal with the menace of cheating during the examination. It has further been said in the report that apart from the students, strict action will be taken by registering an FIR against the administrator and room invigilator of the examination center.

Teachers or professors who are found involved in malpractice related to any examination will be punished under the same act. To avoid incidents of cheating, CCTV cameras will be installed in all the examination centers, so that students and their activities can be monitored. The Uttar Pradesh government, along with the state education department, has made necessary arrangements for the students to avoid any kind of cheating.

As per the official date sheet, the Uttar Pradesh Board Exams 2023 for Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted from February 16, 2023. This year the 10th exam will end on March 3, 2023, while the 12th exam will end on March 4.

UPMSP has already started the State Board Class 12 practical exams. As per the schedule, the UP Board Class 12th practical exam is being conducted in two phases from January 21 to January 28, 2023. Uttar Pradesh earlier this month Education The board announced changes in the exam pattern for class 10. As per the revised pattern, students will have to answer a total of 70 marks out of which 50 marks will be descriptive type and 20 marks will be objective type questions.
