New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was battling Covid-19 complications and was admitted to the hospital. 1 June 2021.
As per earlier inputs, the 61-year-old minister had tested positive on April 21 and later resumed office after recovering from the virus. However, the minister started developing some complications again, after which he was admitted to the hospital.
The minister had earlier said, “This is to inform all of you that I have tested COVID positive. I am taking medicine and treatment as per the advice of my doctors. I request all those who have recently tested positive for me. Got in touch.” While disclosed that he was infected with Kovid-19.
