CSK coach Fleming tweeted a few hours before the IPL 2023 final, playing a song for the fans of the franchises who have traveled across the country, making the venues of other franchises look like it’s a home match. Have a game Be it the Motera Stadium Eden Gardens, or the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, CSK fans have flocked to every venue, drowning the stadiums in a sea of yellow.
Fleming’s men remain in the hunt for their fifth IPL title after rain delayed the final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The toss was delayed as both the teams waited out the slushy rain, however ahead of the final the CSK coach thanked his loyal fans for showering so much love to the franchise throughout the IPL 2023 season.
“There’s not long until the final game, so it’s a perfect time to say ‘thank you’ for all the support the team has received this year. We all understand the love for the captain but to see a field filled with yellow like this is truly heartbreaking.” Amazing. There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the future of CSK skipper Dhoni and ‘Thala’ recently said that he still has some time to decide whether he wants to continue playing or not.
