Of the six projects that will be ready, the most awaited is the underpass at Sector 51-72 intersection. “The cost of the underpass is Rs 59 crore. Once ready, it will facilitate signal-free movement of traffic from Noida City Center Metro Station to Noida Extension and Ghaziabad. Connectivity with nearby areas like 50, 51, 71, 72, 121 will also be better,” said an official.
The indoor stadium in Sarfabad is being built on an area of ​​9,300 sqm and at a cost of Rs 54.1 crore. “The stadium has facilities for sports like table tennis, judo, weightlifting, billiards, taekwondo, squash, lawn tennis and freestyle wrestling. Apart from these, it also has a gym, a hostel and residential quarters for the state level players. The work on the stadium is almost complete,” said Tyagi.
