Ukraine crisis: Russian President said – we are ready for agreement, but we cannot close our eyes to the antics of US-NATO

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine for the past two months seem to be subsiding. Russia announced on Tuesday morning that it would withdraw some of its troops from the Ukrainian border. However, Western countries have so far not trusted this announcement of Russia and have asked for evidence of withdrawing the troops. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin himself has made it clear in a press conference that he wants a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis. But they cannot turn a blind eye to the antics of America and NATO.

“We are ready to work together. We are also ready to go to the side of agreements. Obviously Russia does not want war. But we are ready to go to Washington and NATO,” Putin said at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Moscow. Those who are interpreting the security principles of other countries in their own way. No country should play with the security of others to enhance its security.

The meeting between German Chancellor Scholz and Putin comes at a time when the US has threatened Russia with sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. It is worth noting that the Nord Stream pipeline is considered very important between Germany and Russia. With this, while Germany’s gas and oil needs will be met, Russia will benefit financially from it.
