Two torn in Naresh Tikait’s Bharatiya Kisan Union: BKU apolitical name was formed, Rajesh Singh Chauhan was elected president

Ghaziabada few moments ago

The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) of Chaudhary Mahendra Singh Tikait was divided into two factions on his death anniversary itself. National President Naresh Tikait and spokesperson Rakesh Tikait have been separated. A new BKU (Apolitical) has been formed under the leadership of National Vice President Rajesh Singh Chauhan. Rajesh Singh Chauhan himself has become its national president. He alleged that Naresh Tikait and Rakesh Tikait are people doing politics. Was asked to campaign for a party in the assembly elections.

Let us inform that Rakesh Tikait was engaged in damage control by staying in Lucknow for 2 days, but he did not succeed. The farmer leaders who left Tikait’s side are upset that this organization is now leaving the farmers’ issues and going towards politics.

Rajesh Singh said – my job is not to do politics
Rajesh Singh Chauhan held a press conference in Lucknow. He said, ‘The executive has decided that the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Apolitical) has now been formed in place of the original Bharatiya Kisan Union. I have 33 years of organization history. When we came home after 13 months of agitation, our leader Rakesh Tikait appeared politically motivated. We talked to him. He said that we are apolitical people. We will not go in cooperation with any political organization.

‘We saw that our leaders came under the influence of some political party and ordered them to campaign for a party. I opposed it. But he didn’t listen to me. After the election it was told to protect the EVMs. We said this is not the work of farmers. I opposed that too. This is the work of the people of the political party.

I am the President of BKU (Apolitical). We stayed in the middle of the agitation for 13 days. Equally accompanied in the movement. Neither did I touch the money of the donation. All the movements in India in 33 years. Fought shoulder to shoulder. I will no longer be in a political party.

Our job is to give respect to the farmer. Rakesh Tikait is the president of his organization. I don’t want to create any controversy. This is a new organization. When asked a question about the Tikait family, he did not give any answer.

After forming a new organization, the officials tried to show unity by raising their hands.

Annoyed by Tikait’s inclination towards politics
BKU NCR President Mangeram Tyagi said in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar that the leadership of the organization has deviated from the ideals of Baba Tikait. Instead of fighting on the issues of electricity, fertiliser, water, he has started protecting EVMs, which is not the work of the farmers’ organization. Bhakiyu was apolitical. A few days ago, Lucknow’s prominent farmer leader Harinam Singh Verma had also expressed displeasure in a conversation with Bhaskar that Rakesh Tikait is now becoming political.
