Twitter feeds for users in India and other countries stopped refreshing on Thursday evening.
Twitter stopped working for many users on Thursday after people were unable to see updated tweets on their feed. According to live tracker downdetector.in the problem has surfaced around 10:00 PM IST and even the global version of the website has also checked the Twitter outage around the same time frame.
Going by the details here, it seems users in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai have reported the outage across the country, with users sharing their Twitter down reports on the tracking website.
And like all normal tech outages, people who tweeted with #TwitterDown had to wait a while before seeing their tweets on the feed.

Noted tipster Jane Manchun Wong of Twitter’s unpublished feature tweeted that the issue was reported in most parts of Southeast Asia on Thursday evening.

Twitter has been put through a variety of changes since then. Elon Musk Took over the reins last year. The company has laid off most of its engineers while some of them have decided to leave for pastures new.
