14-year-old twin brothers died in the early hours of Sunday after they fell from their balcony on the 25th floor of a skyscraper in Ghaziabad. The incident happened around 1 pm. According to the official, apart from both the children, their mother was also present in the house located at Prateek Grand Society located in Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad.

“We got information about the incident at around 1.05 am after which a police team reached the spot,” the officer said.

The deceased have been identified as Satya Narayan and Surya Narayan who were studying in class 9 and belonged to Chennai.

The police officer said that around 12 o’clock in the night his mother went to his room and asked him to sleep early, although both the brothers insisted on seeing the moon first. “After that, she went to her room and after some time there was an explosion which woke her up and she went to her children’s room,” said the officer, where she saw both her children fall from the balcony. went.

The police have started investigation and sent the bodies of the deceased brothers for post-mortem.

Asked about any suicide angle in the case, the official told IANS that it was too early to comment on it and they were waiting for the post-mortem report.
