YouTube fame Twarita Nagar was recently featured in a song for the upcoming movie ‘Fukrey 3’. The YouTuber, well-known for her videos like ‘Not Dating’, ‘Dating in Office’, and ‘Love on Arrival’, recently fell prey to the trolling on social media as she gained 12 Kgs weight. Owing to her dedication, she shed the extra pounds in the nick of time and attained better fitness levels.

The Reason for Weight Gain

Twarita revealed that she has always maintained a normal weight since her teenage years. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she gained about 10 kilograms and was on the verge of developing thyroid issues. The primary reason for this weight gain was her sweet tooth. She indulged in various sweet treats during the pandemic, which gradually pushed her weight up to 68 kilograms.

Taking Control

Twarita continued, “I consulted several dieticians to lose weight but realized that I needed to take charge of my diet rather than relying solely on advice. Therefore, I began researching weight loss methods myself. I adopted straightforward approaches such as avoiding junk food, consuming home-cooked meals, increasing fiber-rich foods, and steering clear of packaged and processed foods. Thanks to these efforts, I successfully reduced my weight to 56 kilograms.”

Mental Stress and Weight Gain

Twarita opened up about the emotional turmoil she faced after her father’s passing, which took a toll on her mental well-being and contributed to her weight gain. However, once she resumed work, she faced criticism and comments about her weight in her videos, which motivated her to make a change.

Balancing Sweets

Despite her sweet tooth, Twarita shared, “I still enjoy eating sweets. For instance, during Ganpati festivities, I indulged in modaks and laddus. However, I believe that every individual knows what’s right for them to eat and what’s not. Whether it’s chocolate or chips, you’re aware of whether it’s suitable for you. I eat sweets in moderation, only when I feel like it.”

Diet Overview

Twarita detailed her daily diet routine, stating, “I begin my day with hot water followed by a handful of dry fruits. After some time, I have a cup of coffee. Whenever hunger strikes, I opt for an egg or tofu sandwich. If I work out, I replace the sandwich with a protein shake before having lunch. I have a particular fondness for dal-khichdi, and I enjoy it every night. While many advise against consuming too many carbs, I personally include them.”

Fitness Regimen

While emphasizing her fitness routine Twarita shared that she now exercises with a personal trainer. Additionally, she follows a regimen that includes yoga, weight training, cardio, and high-intensity workouts. “I never skip my dance class and dedicate at least one hour to it daily.Furthermore, I go running three days a week.”
