Tunisha Sharma’s Mother Refutes Claims of Taking Daughter’s Money, Says ‘I Gave Her ₹3 Lakh in 3 Months’

New twists are coming in the alleged suicide case of Tunisha Sharma. The late actress’s mother Vanita Sharma has now reacted to the statement of Sheezan Khan’s mother Kahekshan Faisi. Sheezan and Tunisha were working in the daily soap Ali Baba Dastaan-e-Kabul and were dating each other. They had broken up shortly before Tunisha’s alleged suicide. Sheejan’s family held a press conference last week to inquire whether they have made serious allegations against Tunisha’s mother. Among other things, he accused his mother of taking his money.

Responding to this claim, Vanitha recently said in an interview that she transferred Rs 3 lakh to Tunisha’s account. Talking to Aaj Tak, she said, “I am not going to spare Sheejan. I have lost my daughter. I am not here to understand the relationship. I am here to get justice. Sheezan and his entire family are involved in this. Tunisha was my life. He never hid anything from me. In the last 3-4 months she was coming closer to her family. The whole family used Tunisha. Sheezan’s mother has claimed that I will not give her the money. She continued, “She was in pain during the breakup. She said, ‘I was cheated, Sheezan used me’. I told her to focus on the show. Sheezan even slapped Tunisha. Tunisha had told her friends that Sheezan used to do drugs and was being forced to do the same. He had started smoking. I want all the reports.”

Sheezan Khan was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide after Tunisha Sharma’s mother lodged an official police complaint. She reportedly claimed that Khan assaulted her late daughter and also forced her to adopt Islamic practices. During a press conference, Sheejan’s family accused Sharma’s mother Vanitha of neglecting them, alleging that the deceased actor was suffering from childhood trauma and depression.
