TS Inter Result 2021: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has declared the result of class 12 or TS Inter today. A high-level meeting was held today between several high-profile ministers in which guidelines on reopening schools were set. The state has already issued the guidelines on the formation of the result and it is expected sometime this week.

More than 4.5 lakh students had registered for TS Inter 2nd year results out of which 2,28,754 girls and 2,22,831 boys passed the exam. This year 100% pass percentage has been declared. A total of 1,76,719 students secured Grade A, 1,04,886 students Grade B, 61,887 students Grade C and 1,08,088 students Grade D.
As per the guidelines, schools have been asked to prepare the result on the basis of class 11 marks and include class 12 practicals or internals in the same. Moreover, as per the guidelines issued by the state, no student will fail this year.
This year the TS Inter examination could not be held, so the ranking of students is being done on the basis of this criterion. Students who write or fail backlog subjects will be given minimum passing marks and will be promoted to the next class. Minimum passing marks will be given to all the candidates registered to appear in the exam in private mode.
With this, Telangana will join the Bihar board in declaring both the 10th and 12th results. While the TS SSC result has already been declared, more than 4.50 lakh students will get the TS Inter results today.
TSBIE was one of the few state boards in favor of conducting the exam. Earlier, the exams were to be held from May 1 to May 19 and practical assessments were scheduled from May 29 to June 7. There were several options including holding the exam for 1.5 hours instead of three hours and asking the students to attempt only 50 per cent. The entire question paper was considered. In the end, the state decided to go along with the rest of the boards and cancel the EM.
