Triumph Speed 400: Get ‘Made for India’ powerful bike at affordable price

New Delhi: British two-wheeler manufacturer Triumph has recently launched a powerful engine bike in India at an affordable price. The name of this cool bike is Speed 400. The competition of this bike in the market is being told from Royal Enfield and Jawa motorcycles.

Triumph Speed 400 has a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is powered by a single-cylinder, 398.15 cc, powerful engine. It gets LED headlamps, an analogue instrument cluster with LCD and a switchable traction control system.

You can pre-book the Triumph Speed 400 on the official website of Triumph India by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000. For safety, it gets disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. The engine of the bike will generate power of 39.5 bhp and torque of 37.5 Nm.

The bike features 43 mm upside-down (USD) front forks and a gas-charged mono-shock absorber at the rear, which provides the rider a comfortable ride on rough roads. The bike has attractive color options and comfortable seat design.

ABS technology reduces the risk of accidents. This system runs from the wheel sensor. Those who feel harsh road conditions activate the ABS. In this case, the sudden application of brakes during an accident gives the driver more time to control the vehicle than with a normal braking system. The sensor automatically engages the anti-lock brakes. When the wheels of a vehicle lock up when the brakes are applied, there is a possibility of the vehicle skidding dangerously on the road surface (especially on wet surfaces).

ABS is activated in case of tire slip. This prevents lock-up and skidding in slippery conditions. Using ABS is very different from using regular brakes. If you are braking normally at a stop sign, red light, or slow-moving vehicle ahead of you, the ABS system will not activate. ABS will automatically activate when there is sudden braking at high speed.
