Triptii Dimri shared that she is receiving an outpouring of love and appreciation messages for her performance in the movie Animal.

Triptii Dimri has been the buzz of the town since the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Her on-screen chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor has garnered significant attention. So much so that she is being hailed as the “national crush.” Post the film’s release, the actress has experienced a substantial surge in her fan base. Over the past few days, Triptii Dimri’s follower count has soared to approximately 3.3 million. Now, recently, Triptii Dimri opened up about how this sudden outpour of love has changed her life.

In conversation with Pinkvilla, Triptii Dimri said, “I’ve been getting a lot of love from people, which is always special a beautiful feeling.” Triptii mentioned that her phone has been constantly ringing, and she’s been experiencing sleepless nights due to the excitement of going through all the heartfelt messages. “So, all is all good. I’m getting a lot of love which is always a good feeling,” she added.

During the interview, Triptii Dimri also praised her co-star Ranbir Kapoor and his dedication and honesty towards his profession. She mentioned, “Whichever film you watch of his, he’s too good, and that is something I want to crack also as an actor—that whatever you do is good. So, it was amazing.” Triptii also said that Rashmika Mandanna, the lead actress in Animal, is the “sweetest person” and made her feel welcome. “Usually, when there are two heroines in the film, there is always that energy… There was nothing; she was just so brilliant,” added Triptii.

Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, saw a global theatrical release on December 1, 2023, featuring a star-studded cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and others. The storyline delves into the dynamics of an unstable father-son relationship. Impressively, the film has surpassed the Rs 600 crore mark in global earnings.

Triptii Dimri made her acting debut with Poster Boys in 2017, and her first significant role was in the romance drama Laila Majnu. However, the actress gained popularity after appearing in the Netflix original film Bulbbul in 2020. Triptii was most recently seen in the film Qala, which also starred Babil Khan. Her upcoming projects include the Dharma Productions film Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, in which she co-stars with Vicky Kaushal, and the Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video, in which she will share the screen space along with Rajkummar Rao.
