TresVista organizes mental health programs for its employees to break stereotypes about mental illness

With an aim to raise awareness about mental health, TresVista, an outsourcing firm, recently organized its second session of a workplace mental health program called ‘Breathe’. It aims to raise awareness of mental health, challenge stereotypes related to mental illness, as well as talk about how one can support their partners. Several webinars on related topics were organized as part of the programme.

“With the program, TresVista aims to raise awareness of mental health, challenge current stereotypes of mental illness, and explore how one can support their partners. Wellness-to-work virtual sessions under Breathe It was attended by employees from Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru offices,” the firm said in its press release.

For the workshop, the company organized 37 webinars in association with Silver Oak Health. These webinars had sessions that covered post-COVID health care, diet and nutrition, and support groups for caregivers, expectant parents, and return to work post-pandemic. The company said the events include structured experiences, group discussions and interactions.

The company launched the Breathe Program in 2021, through which employees and their family members can access professional experts for emotional and mental health.

The program includes but is not limited to a series of workshops on health, awareness and wellness, tie-ups with experienced third-party professionals that employees and their families have access to, and our comprehensive counseling program.

before this, The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the list of colleges, universities, and other higher educational institutions across India will have ‘Chhatra Seva Kendras’ to ensure the mental and emotional well-being of students in higher educational institutions. It had framed draft guidelines, according to which, colleges have been asked to set up ‘Student Service Centres’, which would aim to identify and guide weak and stressed students.
