Tritiya Tithi of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta, the third form of Goddess Durga, while Chaturthi Tithi is dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda, the fourth form of Navadurga. On October 9, Tritiya Tithi will be effective till 07:48 PM and after that there will be Chaturthi Tithi. Nakshatra will be Visakha till 04:47 PM and after that Anuradha Nakshatra will be there. Moon will remain in Libra till 11:20 am and then move to Taurus sign, however, Sun’s influence in Virgo will remain.

Auspicious time on 9th October

Abhijit Kalam’s Shubh Muhurta will be on October 8 between 11:45 am to 12:31 pm. During this one can worship Maa Kushmanda. Other auspicious times such as Godhuli Muhurta and Amrit Kalam can also be considered for the worship of Goddess Durga.
