Panaji: Due to the formation of a cyclonic circulation over east-central Arabian Sea off Karnataka coast, there is a possibility of rain, thunder and lightning in the coming days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that a possible change in circulation conditions over east-central Arabian Sea could lead to heavy rains. “The cyclonic circulation over east-central Arabian Sea off Karnataka coast now lies over east-central Arabian Sea and extends up to 4.5 km above mean sea level. A trough has become less marked over East-central Arabian Sea to West-central Bay of Bengal,” the IMD said.
Moreover, a Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over North Andaman Sea around October 10. It is very likely to become more marked and move west-northwestwards towards South Odisha and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh in subsequent days.
