Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet has spoken out about sexual harassment allegations against his “Call Me By Your Name” co-star Armie Hammer. In a new interview, Elio Perlman’s portrayal in the 2017 film announced that he would not give a “partial response,” reports aceshowbiz.com. When asked about the matter in an interview with Time magazine, the 25-year-old said, “I totally know why you’re asking this.”

He added: “But this is a question worthy of great conversation, and I don’t want to give you a partial response.”

Hammer was charged with rape in March.

One of his former partners, Effie, alleged that he abused her “mentally, emotionally and sexually” during the four-year relationship.

At the time, he was still married to Elizabeth Chambers.

In a March press conference, Effie said that the alleged abuse turned into rape in April 2017, when she was 20 years old. She elaborated that during the attack, the man leading ‘Rebecca’ “slammed her repeatedly against the wall” and hurt her.

Hammer’s attorney Andrew Brettler, however, was quick to close the charges.

“His own correspondence with Mr Hammer undermines and denies his outrageous allegations,” Andrew said in a statement.

The statement further read: “As recently as July 18, 2020, (Effie) sent Mr. Hammer a graphic text explaining what she wanted him to do. Mr. Hamer responded by clarifying that he wanted to do it. Don’t want to maintain. That’s the type of relationship with him.”

Before Effie came forward with his claims, Hammer’s other ex, Courtney Vusekovic, made cannibalistic charges against him.

Another ex, Paige Lorenz, also claimed that the actor used a knife to carve the letter “A” into the skin near his vagina.

The allegations prompted Hammer to pull out of several projects, including “Shotgun Wedding” with Jennifer Lopez and the drama series “The Offer.” He was also fired by his talent agency, WME.

In June, it was reported that Hamer checked into rehab in Orlando, Florida for treatment for drug, alcohol, and sexual problems.

According to Vanity Fair, his estranged wife Elizabeth and their children left him at the facility.
