Be it his blistering batting or on-flick fashion sense, young Indian cricketer Shubman Gill leaves no stone unturned to enthrall his fans. The 23-year-old opening batsman has a formidable presence on social media and often uploads pictures on his Instagram handle in ravishing outfits. The latest inclusion in the list comes after Gill collaborated with Indian batsman Nitish Rana’s wife Saachi Marwah. The cricketer joined hands with Saatchi—an architectural designer by profession—to promote the former’s newly curated gold-plated chair. In the caption, the entrepreneur dubbed the chair “the throne of finesse.”

Shubman Gill has made a name for himself in world cricket with some explosive batting in recent times. He has been on fire in the limited overs format this year. The stylish batsman has already etched his name in the record books. Gill became only the fifth Indian player to score a double century in ODI cricket. He achieved the milestone on 18 January during a match against New Zealand. Gill also set the record for the highest T20I score by an Indian batsman after hitting a blistering 126 against the Kiwis during the same tour.

Looking at his latest assignments, Shubman Gill is now with the Indian cricket team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy on home soil. However, he was not included in the playing XI of the first two Tests and is still waiting for his chance.

After KL Rahul’s poor performance in the series so far, Gill is likely to play in the third Test starting March 1 in Indore. India They have already taken a 2-0 lead in the series and would like to seal the series with another win. Australia have so far struggled to find answers to India’s spin attack and both matches ended in three days. While India will be looking for yet another impressive performance, all eyes will be on the return of the series.
