Nagarjuna has reportedly agreed to star in the remake of the film, which will be directed by noted writer Prasanna Kumar, who is making his debut. The actor has not given any official statement yet. If all goes according to plan, Srinivas Chitturi will provide the funds for the project. He was the financier of films like U-Turn, The Warrior and Sitamar.
It is also believed that Nagarjuna discussed his 100th film with director Mohan Raja, who recently directed Godfather with Chiranjeevi.
