DNA of those who burst crackers in India on Pakistan’s victory cannot be Indian: Hari Min Anil Vijo

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Tuesday alleged that the DNA of crackers in the country cannot be Indian if Pakistan wins a cricket match against India. He also said that one needs to beware of “traitors” hiding in one’s country.

“The DNA of those who burst crackers in India when Pakistan wins a cricket match cannot be Indian. Beware of traitors hiding in our own house,” Vij tweeted in Hindi.

The senior BJP leader’s remarks come amid media reports of anger against Kashmiris for celebrating the victory of the neighboring country.

Pakistan had registered a 10-wicket win over India in the ICC T20 World Cup match played in Dubai on Sunday.

After the match, a scuffle broke out between Kashmiri students and a group of students from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar at an engineering institute in Punjab’s Sangrur district. On the incident, National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah said that he is distressed to hear about the alleged physical assault of some Kashmiri students and urged Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi to look into the matter.
