ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a common problem among people nowadays. If you often lose your keys, forget your belongings to bring to the office, are late etc. Chances are high that you have ADHD. According to researches, about 10 million people have this disorder while only about 15-20% are getting an official diagnosis. This disorder is highly relevant but people often overlook it as part of daily forgetfulness. Because of that, here are some things that people with adult ADHD do.

You never think twice before buying that luxury bag or extra golf accessories. You buy it right away as it has caught your eye. You never know about the results.

– You forget the most important things, even if you marked them as a reminder.

– You like to delay your tasks till the last minute because you are not interested in completing them.

– You keep losing your belongings over and over again, no matter how attentive you try to be. car keys? You’ll never be able to find them when you want them.

Your house is as messy as ever because the word ‘organized’ isn’t even in your vocabulary. Forget putting things in order.

You are always easily distracted. When you are interested in a thousand things, it is very difficult to keep your concentration level up.

– You just can’t stop and listen to others when they talk to you about their life, relationships or problems. And so, you are ultimately considered an ignorant person.

You get frustrated quite easily. It is almost a nightmare for you to handle difficult situations.

– You just have no filter. You blur things out by not respecting anyone’s privacy.

– You are absolutely careless. You drive in haste, make twice as many decisions without thinking and mostly have drastic consequences. Even so, you still don’t try to repair it.

– You can’t wait for the guys to come. If no one is on time, you will leave. You will whisper and leave in anger!

These are just some of the common things that people with ADHD do. Most people would say that this is just the downside of their personality, but in all honesty, it is actually a mental disorder. This should require adequate diagnosis and treatment from professionals or these conditions will continue to affect relationships, work, life and mental balance.
