New Delhi: Tech billionaire Elon Musk started a poll some time back asking users whether he would be removed from Twitter. Over 56% of Twitter users agreed with Musk quitting against 42% of users at the poll’s conclusion. As Musk conceded defeat and offered to step down as soon as a suitable claimant was found for the position. Nothing major has happened since then.

Elon Musk has now shared a meme of a dog sitting on Twitter CEO’s chair and said, “Twitter’s new CEO is amazing”. He also shared Doug as the Twitter CEO meme. He further added, “He is great with numbers and has a style”.

Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk in late October last year in a whopping $44 billion deal. Since the acquisition, it has been making several changes to make the platform more attractive and profitable. Twitter recently expanded its Twitter Blue to other countries including India. Now Twitter users will have to pay Rs 650 per month for web and Rs 900 for mobile to get Verified Blue Tick. Furthermore, the microblogging platform has increased the character limit for US Twitter Blue users from 280 to 4000.
