Meanwhile, a TDO official informed that the housing reservation scheme was introduced in which developers could buy reserved plots and develop reservations on 40% of the land and exploit the remaining area commercially. The reservation once developed will be handed over to the corporation.
Speaking to TOI after the House proceedings were over, the official said, “This scheme is beneficial for the corporation as we get a reserved plot without the process of acquisition and the reservation is also being developed without any additional cost. ”
