Producer Vipul Amritlal Shah has now responded to the ban and vowed to fight against it.
On Monday, Vipul Amrutlal Shah responded to West Bengal’s ban on his film The Kerala Story. Talking about this he told ANI, “If he has done this, we will take legal action. We will fight whatever is possible under the provisions of the law.”
ANI quoted West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee as saying, “The West Bengal government has decided to ban the film ‘The Kerala Story’. This is to avoid any incidents of hatred and violence and to maintain peace in the state.” Is.”
He also said, “What is The Kashmir Files?” It is meant to humiliate a class. What is ‘Kerala Story’? … This is a distorted story.”
At the same time, the film is doing well at the box office. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, The Kerala Story, produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, earned Rs 16 crore on its third day. This takes its total box office collection to Rs 35.25 crore which is impressive. The film has managed to make a tremendous collection in the first week. While it is expected to slow down over the week, the film will still be able to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in the coming few days.
