Archies’ first song ‘Suno’ unveiled Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. Currently, the Zoya Akhtar series is underway and the filmmaker is in Mauritius for the past few days. While the young star cast was recently in Ooty, if new reports are anything to go by, the Archies team will shoot a song in Mumbai towards the end of July.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the Dil Dhadakne Do director has roped in his favorite choreographers, Bosco and Caesar. For Unverse, Bosco and Caesar have choreographed several hits for Zoya including Senorita in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Not only this, the song will be shot in a classroom like set up wherein we will see young star kids wearing uniforms.
The song will be shot at a studio in Goregaon, a suburb of Mumbai. For this, the team of Archies was rehearsing in Ooty in the month of May. Actually, during the rehearsal schedule, Suhana Khan also celebrated her 22nd birthday.
The project immediately became the talk of the town as it marks the beginning of three children from the largest film families. Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor Bollywood Acting debut with Archies.
The film also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina.
For the unversed, The Archies is an iconic comic book that chronicles the adventures of Archie Andrews and his squad including Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and Reggie. The comic has been adapted twice on Celluloid, with the most famous adaptation being Riverdale.
Netflix has partnered with Archie Comics for the film, which will be set in 1960s India. Archies is produced by Zoya and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti under their production house Tiger Baby. Zoya had announced the project on social media in November last year.
