KALYAN: An 18-year-old farmer survived an attack by leopard in the Kasara forest area on Monday.
The young man, Mangesh More scared the big cat away with the help of a big stick lying near him on the farm, officials said.
On Monday evening Mangesh said he was going home after reaping the wheat when suddenly the leopard attacked him.
However, Mangesh resisted with the help of the stick and forced the big cat flee into the forest. He suffered injuries after being clawed on his back by the big cat. He was treated for the same at a primary health care centre and was discharged on Tuesday.
