Telangana Covid Cases: Telangana reports 409 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths. Hyderabad News – Times of India

HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 409 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Thursday, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 6,865.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,54,035 and the death toll is 3,852.
The number of active containment zones in the state was 18.
Jagtial, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have most of the active containment zones in the state.
A total of 453 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,43,318.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is 98.36 percent.
Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
88,308 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus on Thursday coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed testing 2.37 crore samples and has reached 6.37 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation 71 cases were reported on Thursday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 28 cases. Ranga Reddy 17 were registered and Sanga Reddy registered four cases.
Outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar recorded the maximum number of 45 new cases on Sunday, while more cases were reported in Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam.
