Extension of Tejashwi Prakash’s Naagin 6?
Naagin is one of the iconic shows on Indian television that set the benchmark and tone for shape-shifting snakes, dual roles, a vengeful villain and of course romance.
Tejashwi Prakash starrer Naagin 6 has got an extension of two months on public demand. The Naagin franchise became a huge hit right from season 1 and continues to receive love from the audience. Now if the latest reports are to be believed then the show will now run till April due to the huge popularity of the fantasy drama. The makers have also planned to introduce a new track to add more drama to the supernatural series.
Naagin is one of the iconic shows on Indian television that set the benchmark and tone for shape-shifting snakes, dual roles, a vengeful villain and of course romance. The sixth installment of the franchise, starring Tejashwi Prakash in the lead, was slated to air on TV on February 12, 2022, and despite good TRPs, the show was all set to go off-air in February 2023.
However, a source told ETimes, “Naagin has got an extension of 2 months and will go off-air in April. The makers have planned to introduce a new track as the show is receiving a lot of love from Shesha (Adaa Khan) and Vishakha (Anita Hassanandani). Fans keep asking for more drama and here we come with an interesting track with Naag Lok.”
The portal also reported the speculations about bringing in the lead Naagin from the previous season. But there is no confirmation regarding this. The finale of the show is expected to be grand as it might reunite all the divas in the show.
Talking about Tejashwi Prakash, she has previously appeared in serials like Sanskar-Dharohar Apno Ki, Swaragini-Jode Rishton Ke Sur, Karna Sangini. She also appeared in reality shows like Bigg Boss 15 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Naagin 6 brought him immense popularity and made him a household name because of his portrayal of the protagonist. She is a shape-shifting ‘naagin’ and has impressed her fans with her charm and acting prowess. She also got into the character of Kiara – a girl with a Firangi accent. Naagin 6 is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her production banner Balaji Telefilms.
The show also stars Mahel Chahal, Urvashi Dholakia, Sudha Chandran, Simba Nagpal, Manit Joura and Abhishek Verma among others. Naagin 6 airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7 PM on Colors TV and can be viewed on Voot.
