Indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas will now be equipped with JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) kit from America. This will help Tejas to hit the enemy positions accurately. With the JDAM kit, Tejas will be able to drop bombs accurately on targets from air to ground at a distance of more than 80 kilometers.

JDAM kit will be installed in the first Tejas fleet
The Indian Air Force has recently entered into an agreement with the US for JDAM kits. First, the fleet of Light Combat Aircraft Tejas will be equipped with JDAM kit. Later other fighter aircraft will also be equipped with this technology.
Officials say that JDAM kits will make domestic aircraft much more powerful than enemy aircraft. The special thing is that we will be able to aim accurately at the enemy from a distance.

The Indian Air Force is trying to make Tejas more powerful by adding more capabilities to it. Recently, the Air Force had equipped Tejas with French Hammer missiles. With these missiles, Tejas has been able to destroy any strong bunker up to a distance of more than 70 km.
