Nitish Kumar’s absurd statement

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given an absurd statement on the deaths due to poisonous liquor in Bihar. He has said, ‘If you drink the wrong thing, it will happen. How much do you drink even after refusing? From the year 2016, we have strictly implemented the prohibition of liquor. Most of the people are in favor of prohibition. Something must be wrong. Some people have a tendency to make mistakes.’

The Chief Minister further said, ‘Some people who mess up are punished. Even go to jail. Appealed people to stay away from it. Some people speak against me on prohibition but don’t worry.

Referring to Nitish Kumar’s above remarks, the RJD leader said, “When the Chief Minister is giving a scathing discourse at the mess, the BJP minister standing next to him, two trucks of liquor were recovered from inside his school. In the police FIR It is also mentioned. Bihar Police has not been able to arrest the minister’s nominated brother till date. This is the truth of his alleged liquor ban.’

Liquor ban was implemented in Bihar on 1st April 2016. In the year 2015, Nitish Kumar had talked about prohibition of liquor in Bihar. Prohibition of liquor encourages the illegal business of liquor. Second- Prohibition is beneficial for liquor smugglers and it also benefits the officials who allegedly take bribe from them.
