Tejashwi Prakash was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 15 on Sunday. The actress defeated Prateek Sahajpal for the Bigg Boss 15 trophy and a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh. While his fans rejoiced, many social media users were divided about the results. Some celebrities like Gauahar Khan, Kamya Punjabi and Bipasha Basu also felt that Prateek deserved to win. Gauahar also revealed that there was complete silence at the time of the announcement of the winner.
Now, since his first interview, Tejashwi felt that no one wants to win him over. “When I saw the video of my journey on the show, I realized that at times things go against me. Tactics and plans were being made against me to remove me from the post. Till the end and even when I was on stage nobody in the studio wanted me to win. Till the last moment and by the time I had the trophy in hand, everyone was expecting me to lose,” she told Bombay Times.
Addressing people questioning the results of the show, Tejashwi said that he believed in the love and format received from the audience and that he got more votes which led to his victory. “Those who doubt the result of this season should also cry over the results of last season. Also, why should I expect someone to appreciate my victory? Me and my family should be happy that I won and my fans should be happy that their hard work paid off. Why should my haters be happy that I won? Obviously my haters will be saddened by my victory. They have a right to be sad,” she said.
Apart from winning the trophy, Tejashwi also found love in the Bigg Boss 15 house. Tejasswi and her co-contestant Karan Kundra fell head over heels for each other in the house and emerged as the Bigg Boss couple of the year. Karan also got a place in the grand finale but finished fourth.
