Janhvi Kapoor, who is currently gearing up for the release of Mr and Mrs Mahi, has made an interesting revelation about her personal life. In a recent interaction, the actress admitted to checking her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya’s phone.
In a video, which is going viral on X, Janhvi reveals that she often checks her boyfriend’s phone. Although she calls her habit of checking her partner’s phone “a red flag”, she says she can’t help it. “I know it’s a red flag but I still check (my partner’s) phone,” Janhvi said in the video. When someone in the audience asked Janhvi, “Should boyfriends be allowed to check their girlfriends’ phone?” The actress replied, “No! Don’t you trust us?”
Janhvi Kapoor recently confirmed dating Shikhar Pahariya. The duo, who had broken up earlier, reconciled around Diwali 2022. Speaking to Mirchi Plus, Janhvi said, “He (Shikhar Pahariya) has been in my life since I was 15-16. I think my dreams have always been his dreams and his dreams have always been my dreams. We’ve been very close. We’ve been each other’s support system almost as if we’ve raised each other.”
Earlier this month, a paparazzi page on Instagram shared that Janhvi would tie the knot with Shikhar in Tirupati Temple in a gold saree. However, the actor was quick to shut down the rumours with a short but hilarious reply. Reacting to the paparazzi post on Instagram, Janhvi commented, “Kuch bhi (What even).” Several fans reacted with laughing face emojis under Janhvi’s comment.
Janhvi Kapoor never shies away from expressing her fondness for Shikhar. Recently, her father and film producer, Boney Kapoor, also confirmed that the actress is in a romantic relationship with Shikhar. “I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he could never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up,” Boney told Zoom.
