The producers of the film, Vyjayanthi Movies, shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video introducing Bujji on X.
Prabhas’ upcoming project the highly anticipated Kalki 2898 AD is continuing to create a lot of buzz online with its updates and promotions. As per the new updates, the makers have introduced a unique character from the film, named Bujji, an adorable, tiny robot.
The sharp-mouthed robot is being dubbed as Bhairava’s (Prabhas’ character) best friend. Taking to their official X account (formerly Twitter), the production of the film Vyjayanthi Movies shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video introducing Bujji. The 2-minute clip introduces the audience to the people who developed the cute Bujji. It shows Bujji interacting and pestering the developers to be fast with his construction, including the film’s director, Nag Ashwin. They describe him as a “very smart, exciting and toughest” addition to the film. It is controlled by the brain, as per Nag Ashwin. By the end of the clip, Bhairava himself reveals Bujji’s whole body, something he is too eager and impatient for. Bujji is revealed to be a futuristic car. The voice-over for Bujji’s character is given by Keerthy Suresh. The video is shared with the tweet, “Presenting From Skratch Episode 4: Building a Superstar #Bujji from #Kalki2898AD!!!”
Fans react to the clip in the comment section, expressing their enthusiasm. The first user wrote, “At last it came.” While a second fan shared, “My beloved #Prabhas is awesome, and the rest is history.” And a third user shared, “Eagerly waiting for May 22nd.” The tweet has gained more than 10,000 likes and over 368,000 views on the platform so far. Bujji will be fully unveiled on May 22.
Kalki 2898 AD is being helmed by Nag Ashwin, who has co-written the screenplay with Sai Madhav Burra. The film features an ensemble cast of names like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Hassan and Disha Patani. It is being produced by C Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. The music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan the cinematographer is Djordje Stojiljkovic and the editing is being done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It is set to release on June 27.
