BTS has released its new webtoon 7 Fates Chakho on Saturday. Inspired by the tiger-hunting officers of the Joseon Dynasty, the webtoon, known as Chakhogpasa, is set against a futuristic urban city, with each member voicing a fictional character. Earlier it was revealed that 7 Fate Chakho will revolve around seven boys. Their fate is linked to the folklore of tigers.
Suga as Sen, Wei as Xuan, J-Hope as Hosu, Jin as Hwan, RM Do as Jeon, Jimin as Haru, and Jungkook as Jiha. played the part. With the release of Webtoon on the Never Webtoon platform, HYBE dropped the official story film, which features the members introducing their characters and teasing the story.
Characters in the video are introduced as ‘Beams pretending to be human’, with a $300,000 bounty on them. Members are seen peeping through the streets and standing on rooftops preparing to face the demons. City of the Future seems straight out of a Marvel Cinematic Universe project, more closely related to the MCU series Loki.
“7 Bhagya: Chakho is a new kind of story. As always, I’m the thinker… even though I’m really not that smart,” BTS leader Kim Namjoon said in the video, as the member crafted their characters. “I’ve never seen a studio like this. A studio with LEDs, I was in awe while I was shooting. I think it will turn out well,” Min Yeongi said, apparently in awe of the set and arrangement. “It’s about capturing monsters so I’m really looking forward to seeing it become three-dimensional. How will it appear? I love action so I’m looking forward to it too,” explained Gene Jungkook.
Park Jimin admitted, “I enjoy things like webtoons, so as we’ve been filming, I’ve become more interested in the plot.” “As long as the CGI looks good, I’m sure (it’s going to be) a great universe,” said Kim Seokjin. The video also shows the members recording their respective characters.
In addition to BTS’s 7 Fates: Try It Out with BTS, HYBE is also set to release The Sir Seekers with TXT, and Dark Moon with Enfin.
