With only one day until the official release of Tamil Nadu Board Students who have appeared in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Results, State Public Examination are eager to know to what extent their hard work in preparing for the examination has paid off.

Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) will release Tamil Nadu HSC Board Exam Result tomorrow on 8th May. Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi will hold a press conference at the Anna Centenary Library Convention. As per the official statement posted on the TNDGE website, the HSE results are announced. The official websites of the board, dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in as well as other websites will make the results available from 9:30 am onwards. Around 8.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 or HSC board exams, which were conducted from March 13 to April 3.

Number of students passing class 12 exam in Tamil Nadu is increasing year by year numbers from previous years, Out of a total of 8,06, 277 students registered for the common examinations, 7,55,998 students passed the examination, making the HSC result 2022 one of the best in the last few years. Perambalur was the top performing district last year with 97.95 per cent students passing the exam, while Vellore was the lowest performing district with 86.69 per cent students passing the HSC exam.

2018 – 91.10 percent

Students can access their Tamil Nadu Class 12 results as soon as it is made available to them by using their login credentials which include their hall ticket number, date of birth and other details which are required. Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Results are easily available through the National Informatics Center (NIC) apart from the official website. Tamil Nadu Board will also send the exam result to those who took the exam through their registered mobile numbers.
