Taking Inspiration From Babasaheb Ambedkar, Emphasising on Education: Kejriwal

Taking inspiration from Babasaheb Ambedkar, we are laying emphasis on education through our government, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday while paying tributes to him on the occasion of his Mahaparinirvan Diwas.

“Today, on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Babasaheb Ambedkar, I would like to appeal to all people to take inspiration from the life of Dr. Ambedkar. His life was full of struggles and we have a lot to learn from him to become better citizens of this country.

The Chief Minister participated in a program organized in the Delhi Legislative Assembly on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Divas of Babasaheb. He said that it was Babasaheb’s dream that by giving good education to every citizen, we can remove poverty, establish equality and ensure respect in the society.

His dream was to provide basic facilities even to the last citizen of the country. In his fight to improve the lives of others, he gave the highest importance to education. Kejriwal said that after learning from his books, the Aam Aadmi Party government has changed the education system in Delhi and we are working towards doing the same in Punjab.

Kejriwal said that the lives of our citizens can be improved only by providing good quality education to each and every citizen of the country. He further added that those who belong to marginalized communities will also be given respect through this change.

The Chief Minister said that now education is very important and hence we are following the footsteps of Babasaheb Ambedkar to improve the life of every citizen of this country.

Kejriwal was accompanied by Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and other leaders on the occasion.
