The former Miss Universe shared a picture of herself on her Instagram handle, in which she can be seen enjoying the bliss of nature. Fans who have watched her much-acclaimed ‘Aarya’ series were speculating that Sushmita was posing at the shoot set location.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the ‘Main Hoon Na’ actor recently wrapped up shooting for the second season of his much-loved series ‘Aarya’. Sushmita returned to acting in 2020 with the Indian crime drama web series ‘Arya’. He won the title of ‘Best Actor in a Drama Series’ on eminent entertainment award platforms like Filmfare, Dadasaheb Phalke, Film Critics Guild and Raj Kapoor. Award for his outstanding performance in drama.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, Sandeep Modi and Vinod Rawat, ‘Aarya’ is the official Indian remake of a popular Dutch show ‘Penoza’. Along with Sushmita, the cast includes Chandrachur Singh, Namita Das, Sikandar Kher among many others.

The series is about Arya, an independent woman who wants to protect her family and joins a mafia gang to avenge her husband’s murder. The second season of the crime thriller series will continue to tell the story of Arya and how she deals with new challenges while fighting her battle for the family.
