Recently a picture of Sunny Deol from the sets of Gadar 2 is going viral on the internet.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s 2001 romantic period drama Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is one of the most iconic Bollywood movies. In December 2021, director Anil Sharma started production on the second installment of the film. And since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the film to hit the theatres. Photos and videos from the sets of this upcoming film keep surfacing on social media. Now, another picture of Sunny Deol as Tara Singh from the sets of Gadar 2 has recently gone viral on the internet.
In the snap, the actor can be seen in his character’s avatar, sporting a black Patiala kurta and a dark green turban. Sunny was seen outside the frame greeting someone with folded hands while the team behind her was seen getting ready for the shot. A fan page of Sunny Deol shared the picture on Instagram and captioned it, “Tara Singh is back.”

In a picture posted in December last year, the crew can be seen getting ready to shoot in the early hours of the day. Anil’s post was captioned as, “It’s 4.42 in the morning…Enjoying Gadar 2…shooting…the fun of shoot in cold weather is something else…”
Even the first look of Gadar 2 was recently released by the makers, and it reminded the internet of the iconic handpump scene from the original film. A 50-second montage video of the lineup of upcoming films was unveiled by ZEE Studios. In the brief clip, Sunny Deol’s character is seen lifting the wheel of the car to attack the goons.
Gadar 2, a sequel to the 2001 film, is said to continue the story starring Tara Singh, his wife Sakina, played by Amisha Patel, and their son Jeete, played by Utkarsh Sharma. In the first installment, Tara Singh crossed the border to bring back his wife. It is being told that the team has completed the final schedule of the film in December 2022. According to reports, the film has been shot in Himachal Pradesh, Indore and Lucknow. The makers have kept the story of the sequel under wraps till now.
Gadar 2 is expected to release in the first half of 2023.
