New Delhi: In a tragic incident at Carmel Covent School in Chandigarh, students were killed and dozens were injured on Friday (July 8) when a huge tree fell on the school premises. The horrific incident took place during lunch time in the school when several students were playing near an old tree and suddenly the tree fell on the children, injuring dozens of students while one died in the accident.
Actor-turned-politician and Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher expressed grief over the horrific incident here and offered condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
