This gangster, who quoted Shakespeare on talk, was the infamous Badan Singh Baddo of 8th pass Meerut. Badan is guilty of murder, but he is not in jail. He has been absconding for two years. The person who reveals the address has a reward of 2.5 lakhs. People say that sitting in some corner of the world, does the business of arms. Badan Singh Baddo’s story will be talked about in today’s gangsters story.
The family settled in Meerut after coming from Jalandhar
In 1970, Badan Singh Baddo’s father Charan Singh moved from Jalandhar to Punjabipura in Meerut and settled. They were fulfilling the needs of seven sons and daughters by driving a truck. Badan Singh was the youngest. Didn’t feel the need to go to school after 8th class. Sometimes he would go to drive a truck with his father, but did not feel like here too.
Badan Singh Baddo’s lifestyle had become a luxury. He had kept exotic dogs and cats.
Badan Singh met with the biggest miscreants of western UP, Sushil Mustache and Bhupendra Bafar, through small miscreants of the locality. Here he got his mind. To establish dominance in the area, started beating. When he needed money, he got into the liquor business. Being Haryana and Delhi border, he earned a lot of money from liquor smuggling.

Badan Singh Baddo committed the first murder in the year 1988. He killed a person named Rajkumar in broad daylight in Gudri Bazar Kotwali area of Meerut. From here his name spread from Meerut to Hapur, Ghaziabad and Baghpat. The discussion started among the miscreants that a new gangster named Badan Singh has arrived, who does not like to listen.

Badan Singh earned a lot of money from alcohol. Life style changed. People tell that he did not like toka-taki, lawyer Ravindra Gurjar was obstructing Baddo’s work. Baddo could not tolerate this and Ravindra escaped after publicly killing Gurjar. Police registered the case and started investigation.
White collar leaders and officers have become special
From the year 2000 onwards, Badan Singh had become a big funder of politicians. This is the reason why the officers started retreating from putting their hands on his business. Badan Singh started living a very luxury life. Wearing glasses worth lakhs on his eyes. Wears Rado and Rolex watches in his hands. If he left the house, he would have walked only in a bullet proof BMW and Mercedes car. Bodyguards and bouncers armed with foreign weapons would always stand behind him.

Badan Singh was moving forward committing crime upon crime. In 2011, he shot and killed Sanjay Gurjar, a district panchayat member of Hastinapur area of Meerut. In 2012, he killed the cable network operator Pavitra Maitre. Apart from these murders, several cases of kidnapping, land grabbing were registered against Badan Singh in Delhi and Punjab. According to police records, 34 cases are registered against him till date.

In 2012, Baddo was arrested by the police in a case of intimidation. When Lalkurti was taken to the police station, from the police station to the SSP, they were surprised. Life sentence for Ravindra murder case
On 31 October 2017, the District Court of Gautam Budh Nagar sentenced Badan Singh Baddo to life imprisonment after the testimony of 9 witnesses in the Rabindra Gurjar murder case. Badan Singh wept as soon as the sentence was announced. On October 13, 18 days before this sentence, Badan Singh had put a post on Facebook. It was written in it, “When the grievance is with loved ones, then silence is better, now it is not necessary that there should be war on everything.” People say that he felt the punishment.
In the Rabindra murder case, the Gautam Budh Nagar court sentenced Badan Singh to life imprisonment.
Badan Singh absconded after 17 months
On 28 March 2019, Badan Singh was brought from Fatehgarh Jail to Ghaziabad Court for appearance in the Sanjay Gurjar Murder case. The hearing was completed and the convoy headed back towards the jail. Baddo persuaded the policemen to proceed to Fatehgarh via Meerut. When he reached Meerut, the car was stopped at the three-star Mukut Mahal hotel owned by him. There was a great arrangement of liquor and kebabs for the police here. The policemen got lost in the inebriation and Baddo escaped.

Police’s hand in escaping
Police vehicle reached Mukut Mahal Hotel at 11.30 am. At 11.45 minutes, Badan Singh escaped from his luxury car already parked there. After five and a half hours, at 5.20 pm, Inspector Deshraj Tyagi informed TP Nagar police station about Badan Singh’s escape. The officers suspended two constables, three constables and two drivers, assuming the fault of the policemen.
When the police caught the son, the wife got a call from Australia
When Baddo ran away, the police formed four special teams. Raids were conducted. Many businessmen associated with him were picked up and put in jail. A reward of 25 thousand was announced on his son Sikandar and he too was later captured. Badan Singh’s divorced wife Jasmine called the SSP of Meerut from Australia. Said, my son Sikandar is innocent. Do not punish Baddo for his wrongdoings. The police said that there will be an investigation, if they are not found wrong, they will leave.
Police could not find it after two years
Two years passed. Four teams of police were engaged but could not find Baddo. It is now believed that Baddo has made its base in the Netherlands and Malaysia, and from there it trades illegal arms. The police issued a lookout notice against him on 2 December 2020. Meerut Police appealed to Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice, but Interpol refused, saying there was no entry on Baddo’s passport.
In Punjabipura village, the Municipal Corporation demolished Badan Singh Baddo’s kothi with a bulldozer.
The government is now confiscating the property
On January 20, 2021, Meerut Municipal Corporation officer Manoj Singh reached Punjabipura with two bulldozers and 20 laborers and broke Baddo’s luxurious kothi. Baddo’s property was attached in November 2020. Dozens of luxury vehicles of Baddo could not be found by the administration. This is because he used to buy the car in the name of others. So far more than 700 days have passed. STF, Crime Branch and Special Police of other states have not been able to trace the points.
