The meeting focused on restricting the movement of liquor, cash and other inducements to influence voters during the one-phase election in Karnataka

Senior officials of the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday participated in an online meeting of the Election Commission of India (ECI) aimed at curbing the flow of inducements in districts bordering Karnataka in the assembly elections to the neighboring state scheduled for May 10.

The meeting focused on restricting the movement of liquor, cash and other inducements to influence voters during the single-phase elections in Karnataka. , Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and other senior officers,” said a statement from the state government on Monday.

From Andhra Pradesh, Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy, Director General of Police KV Rajendranath Reddy, CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena, Special Chief Secretary Rajat Bhargava and other senior officers participated.
