Police said that the juvenile accused wanted to help a friend in the examination at Uppala Government School under Kamlapur police station area.

The minor allegedly entered through the back gate of the Government Boys School in Kamlapur at 9:30 am after the exams began on Tuesday. “The girl then went to the first floor and took a photo of the question paper with the help of a mobile phone. After this he shared it with other Ganesha through WhatsApp. The message was sent by Shiv Ganesh to a WhatsApp group ‘SSC 2019- 20’ at 9:59 am.

Mahesh saw the message and forwarded it to Prashant, who forwarded the picture of the question paper to various groups including ‘CNU Friends’, allegedly adding captions including ‘breaking news’ and ‘question paper leaked’, police said. The photos and messages then went viral through different WhatsApp groups. According to the police, Prashant sent the same message to the detainee Sanjay and said that he made 146 calls in about an hour.
