SRK’s Coffee Prank: Chak De India Actor Vibha Chibber Spills The Beans

Actor Vibha Chibber, who portrayed the character of Krishnaji in the sports drama ‘Chak De! India,’ has shared her experience of working with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, expressing that she has never had a co-star like him.

‘Chak De! India,’ directed by Shimit Amin, featured Shah Rukh Khan as the coach of the women’s national hockey team. Vibha Chibber, who made her film debut with “Chak De! India,” shared her experience working on the sports drama in an interview with Rajshri Unplugged. Showering praise on Shah Rukh Khan, the veteran actress stated, “Shah Rukh sir was such a nice person to talk to, very humble. He knew that all of us were new, so were scared and he had experience. An actor gets an actor. To work with him was an amazing experience, I have never worked with a co-star like him. When I had to shoot our first scene together, I was so nervous, my heart was pounding.”

The actor also recounted a memorable moment during the rehearsal of their lines with Shah Rukh Khan. While rehearsing, as SRK was casually walking and drinking coffee, he unexpectedly came in front of her and pretended to throw coffee, surprising her. It turned out to be a light-hearted prank intended to make her feel more at ease, and both of them ended up sharing laughter. This incident not only established a connection between them related to Delhi but also linked them through Barry John and their theater background. Following this playful incident, Vibha Chibber mentioned that she became “quite comfortable” working with Shah Rukh Khan.

The actor also reminisced about a time when the team of the film went to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’ in theaters, and they celebrated the success throughout the night. During this experience, she noted that Shah Rukh doesn’t carry the burden of being a star, which she found to be refreshing.
