Home Minister Arga Gyanendra said on Thursday that the government has registered those cases in the last three years till November 30.
According to details provided by the government, the extent of the scam has not been disclosed in the two cases related to Srikrishna and the bitcoin fraud.
However, the government has disclosed that it has managed to recover or confiscate a partial amount of Rs 29 lakh in another nine cases in which fraudsters either claimed to have invested in bitcoin or made investors believe that They will invest in bitcoin.
The total value of nine cases has been mentioned in the FIR as Rs 2 crore.
According to Gyanendra’s reply, the accused are absconding in at least three cases while a case has been registered in the remaining eight cases.
When asked about the involvement of the police in the cases related to Srikrishna, Gyanendra refuted all the charges and said that the police had done their duty in the case related to the alleged bitcoin scam and claimed that it was also only a fraud case. Was.
“There is no scam in this, but only a fraud,” the home minister claimed.
However, the Congress MLAs were not satisfied with the response and asked the Speaker to hold a detailed discussion on the issue in the ongoing session itself.
Chairman Basavaraj Horati asked sitting opposition leader SR Patil to make a written request on the matter and said he would consider it.
