Squid Game 2: New casts, everything you need to know

New Delhi: The popular Netflix show ‘Squid Game’ will return for Season 2 next year. The buzz around the cast list of Season 2 is inconceivable. Netflix announces initial line-up for ‘Squid Game 2’ at Tudem event. It was punished for not including a female artist. Several names have surfaced since then, and today, Netflix Korea revealed the names of the new lineup, as well as photos from their first readings.

Squid Game 2 new cast names

New additions for ‘Squid Game 2’ include Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home), Jo Yoo-ri of is*one, Kang Ae-Sim (Move to Heaven), Lee David (The Fortress and Swaha: The Sixth Finger) , Are included. Other recurring cast members include Lee Byung-hun, who will play front man, and Wai Ha-joon, who will play police detective Joon-ho. In addition to Lee Jung-jae, Gong Yoo will return.

Yim Si-wan (Unlocked), Kang Ha-neul (Midnight Runner), Park Sung-hoon (The Glory), and Yang Dong-geun (Yaksha: Ruthless Operations) will be among the primary cast.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk will also return.

The show premieres on Netflix on September 17, 2021. It is still one of the most popular shows on the platform. 456 players will compete for $4.56 million in cash prizes in the tournament.

‘Squid Game 2’ is expected to hit the theaters by the end of the year.
