Puducherry : Puducherry Administration decided to strengthen its border Supervision With teams of health and police officials to ensure entry of people with at least one dose to Puducherry COVID-19 Vaccine and identify people with symptoms and isolate them for medical treatment. The District Collector said that this decision was taken in view of the increase in Kovid-19 cases in Puducherry. e valvan,
The administration has set up taluk and firka level joint inspection teams with revenue, labour, health, police, municipal and commune panchayat officials to keep a close watch on hotels, malls, market places, theaters and marriage ceremonies to ensure Covid-19 containment. It has also been decided to constitute proper behaviour.
“Joint inspection teams, apart from sealing the premises for repeated violations, will issue challans for not wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Police, revenue, labor and local administration departments will inspect and issue challans for violations. He will have his departmental team for it.” Vallavan said.
All commercial establishments shall ensure to have sanitizers and thermal scanners in their premises, apart from ensuring ‘marking’ for social distancing.
Only vaccinated people should stay in the hotel/lodge. The administration advised the people to follow the proper behavior of Kovid-19 and avoid going to crowded places.
