‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer breaks ‘Avengers: Endgame’ record in 24 hours – Times of India

“You all will be watching this as many times as you asked for,” read a tweet.Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ Twitter handle, and it looks like fans were in no mood to disappoint.

As per the latest reports, the trailer that dropped on Tuesday morning garnered a record global viewership of 355.5 million within its first 24 hours. With this the trailer broke the previous record of ‘Marvel’.avengers: endgame‘, which got 289 million views.

After the trailer leaked on social media, the makers took down the original trailer and shouted out to “real people who are just watching the trailer for the first time”.

The three-minute clip has piqued the interest of fans who have been waiting for months to see how the film will play out after the events of ‘.Spider Man: far from home’.

In the upcoming movie Peter Parker (tom hollandWhen his identity is revealed to the world, his life is turned upside down. Desperate to clean his slate, he turns to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) asking for help, only to accidentally open the multiverse.

The upcoming flick will bring Holland alongside the villains from the previous ‘Spider-Man’ film franchise. These include Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro, and willem defoe as the Green Goblin.

The trailer also hints at the return of Sandman and the Lizard.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will see Zendaya reprise her role as MJ, Jacob Batalon returning as Ned Leads, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Jon Favreau as Happy as Hogan.

This is the third consecutive Spider-Man film directed by Jon Watts.

The film is scheduled to release in India in December 2021.
