SpiceJet Commences Flight Operations From Goa’s Manohar International Airport; Check New Routes

Low-cost airline SpiceJet on Friday started operations at the recently constructed Manohar International Airport in Mopa, Goa. The airline will start operating flight services from Friday, connecting the new facility to Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. SpiceJet said it has recently started flights to Mumbai and Bengaluru from Mopa airport.

In addition, the airline has launched several flights on Hyderabad-Jharsuguda-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Gwalior-Hyderabad, Jaipur-Amritsar-Jaipur and Amritsar-Patna under the government’s regional air connectivity scheme, Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN). Amritsar route, it said.

“The new (Goa) airport will serve as an important entry point into North Goa for domestic and international tourists and passengers. We look forward to adding more flights to the facility in the near future,” said Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer SpiceJet he said.
