Akshay Kumar recreates ‘Jai-Veeru’ moment with Rohit Shetty

The magic created by the combination of Jai and Veeru in the iconic film ‘Sholay’ is everlasting. Actors ahead of the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’ Akshay Kumar Gave fans a glimpse of their Jai-Veeru moment with the filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Taking to Instagram, Akshay posted a picture of Rohit riding his bike while he can be seen sitting behind him. Describing the picture, he wrote, “Our Jai-Veeru moment, when @itsrohitshetty took a break from blowing up cars. But for the mind-blowing action.” Akshay and Rohit’s Jai-Veeru moment has garnered many likes and comments from netizens.

Recently, Akshay recreated his iconic ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ side stance while promoting his much-awaited film ‘Sooryavanshi’. Taking to his Instagram handle, Akshay shared a picture in which he can be seen recreating the pose of Raju, the character from the 2006 blockbuster film ‘Phir Hera Pheri’. He can be seen wearing a snake print shirt and sunglasses, which perfectly captures the pose of Raju who poses in a bold printed shirt and dark sunglasses. “Swag with the side!” Akshay took to his Instagram handle as he presented his ‘waiting pose’ for ‘Sooryavanshi’ to hit the theatres.

Talking about ‘Sooryavanshi’, it is finally releasing in theaters on November 5, as it is facing several delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the film, Akshay will be seen as DCP ‘Veer Suryavanshi’, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. also features Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharika Raizada, Vivaan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Javed Jaffrey. together with Ajay Ranveer singhcameo appearances.

‘Sooryavanshi’ is Rohit Shetty’s ambitious project that brings to life his cop universe. The action film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Pictures, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It is based on a screenplay by Yunus Sajawal, Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bendre and Vidhi Ghodgadankar and an original story by Shetty.
